Quality Supervisor – Supply Chain (Dubai)

he Quality Supervisor will support the Quality Manager to improve, develop and maintain GxP standards (Storage, distribution, documentation, manufacturing), and the Health and Safety quality standards of MPC Logistics Services Division (LSD). The Quality Officer will liaise with the Operations teams to ensure full compliance with the established international and national guidelines. Demonstrating good quality commitments during Audits specific to the LSD will be a key focus area of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain appropriate GxP standards and procedures that comply with UAE MOH standards and procedures that comply with UAE MOH standards and guidelines. Maintain and monitor Principal specific labeling procedures. Ensure the training of concerned personnel involved with the labeling procedures. Assist in the maintenance and implementation of ISO standards. Plan and Coordinate with the Quality Manager to conduct Internal and External Audit programs. Coordinate the GxP Training Plan in association with HR and Line Managers. Assist to develop and implement training programs related to GxP guidelines, Quality SOPs as well as safety & health issues. Follow up with warehouse and Distribution Managers on Product Recall and Hold issues until closed. Create internal CAPAs and monitor them regularly. Liaise with operations team to prepare CAPAs for Principal related issues. Undertake Quality and Safety Program tasks as delegated by the Quality Manager. Responsible for all warehouse inspection readiness for GxP prior to inspections by health authorities, Principal audits, and visits. Monitor and maintain different storage conditions at the warehouse to ensure proper storage and quality of the pharmaceutical products. Assist to develop appropriate Health & Safety standards in relation to pharmaceutical/Health sciences logistics operations and ensure that these standards are applied. Ensure all safety & environmental procedures are maintained pertaining to all Warehouse operations. Work with cross-functional MPC employees to prepare, collect and review data related to quality.

Core deliverables

Develop and maintain all quality-related training materials. Maintain and implement tasks related to quality, health, and safety SOPs.Management of Validation and calibration process.Issuing, recording, and escalating process deviations. Maintain a central register covering Quality Audit, QTA -Quality technical agreements, and regulatory issues. Monitor Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Strong team player with the ability to liaise with departments within MPCExcellent communication and presentation skills be proactive, consistent follow-through, and attention to detail. Knowledge of writing procedures and forms.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS office.
  • Good understanding of QMS
  • Technical knowledge of Calibrations, Validations, and temperature mapping.

Fields of Knowledge & Competencies

  • Preferred knowledge of ISO certifications and GXP standards.
  • Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Health Sciences field (BIO, CHEM, PHY).
  • Quality Management experience within Logistics would be beneficial
  • 2-5 Years’ experience in the Healthcare Quality Sector
